Since 1989, Taiwan Water Corporation has stopped using asbestos pipes for all newly installed pipelines. Between 1994 and 2006, the entire asbestos pipe network in Taiwan was completely replaced. As a result, Taiwan Water Corporation no longer has any asbestos pipelines.
